The method

Cafecito Spanish is built around one short, warm lesson a day — the Spanish people actually speak in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Spain. Every lesson is clearly levelled with a small CEFR badge, from A1 to C2, so you always know whether it is for you. No fluff, and over before your coffee goes cold.

The Spanish we teach

We teach a Latin-American-neutral core you can use right across the Spanish-speaking world, and we teach the real regional variants — Rioplatense vos, Mexican everyday pace, and more — as content in their own right, not as an afterthought. Every lesson is written, checked and levelled by fluent humans.

Meet the cast

Marisol is your host — warm, patient, and speaking a Latin-American Spanish you can actually follow. She leads the daily lessons.

Lucia is the Argentine voice: genuine Rioplatense, vos and all. She shows how the same Spanish sounds south of the equator.

Carlos is our co-host and quiz master, with Mexican Spanish at an everyday pace. He runs the quizzes that check what you have learned.

How we make these

Our presenters — Marisol, Lucia and Carlos — are AI-generated characters, designed and directed for this channel. We build them openly: every lesson is scripted, fact-checked and levelled by fluent Spanish-speaking humans before a presenter ever says a word, and every guide we publish is written and proofread the same way. The faces are synthetic; the Spanish, the pedagogy and the care are not.

Who's behind it

Cafecito Spanish is independently built and run by a fluent Spanish speaker, who writes, checks and levels the lessons and guides, and directs the presenters.
